Kristina Schumacher'Yotes End WP Winning Streak
January 30, 2010CALDWELL, Idaho - Whitney Owen scored 15 points, as The College of Idaho ended Warner Pacific’s six-game win streak with a 65-57 victory inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.
With the win, the No. 18 ranked Lady Yotes (15-5, 11-2 CCC) open a game and a half lead in the Cascade Conference standings and avenge one of their two losses in league play.
The C of I led by as many as 24 in the second half, before the Knights (14-8, 8-4 CCC) closed the game on a 16-3 run in the final three minutes – including 11 of Kristina Schumacher’s team-high 18 points.
